Hello Everybody,
I need to know if it is possible to use a BRAM
of the Cyclone 1 as a FIFO? if so, how you do that?
thanks.

Did you even try to look this up before posting? For your previous post I can see you know what megafunctions are as you created a dual port memory. Make an effort and stop relying on others to spoon feed you everything.

Thank you
I am still offended but thank you. I have found the answer By the way.
You have been of great help.

So both a bit of Fry & Laurie, AND you have learned how to find answers to relatively straightforward questions by yourself. It truly is a good day! :)

Not really.
I end up with a bit of headache, and got tired from
doing sombedy's else work. Plus I lost some few minutes
of my life watching some (not really) useful video, which
someone suggested to me.
It is quite a day , yes but i have known better ;)

Well, then you know how it feels to read posts by people that don't really put much effort into solving their own problems.

Think of the Fry & Laurie as headache prevention. Besides, you got the solution so from a holistic viewpoint the video worked. ;)

That is not logic, since i would have added some time doing that!
:D
Okay I am sorry
I read something wrong, I thought it was only from Cyclone 2.
But there are more polite ways to send a message you know.
I want some apologies please because it was a little offensive.
And let us forget that.

You would have lost less minutes of your life if you had typed the following into google "Altera FIFO megafunction"

You would have saved time if you had used google prior to posting your original question:

You would have gotten your answer immediately instead of waiting for a response. The first link that shows up gives you pertinent information to your question.

How were my post offensive?
1. I questioned whether you looked something up?
2. I noted you know that Altera has megafunctions?
3. Telling you to make an effort instead of relying on others to perform google searches for you?
4. I pointed out that you could have saved yourself time by using google first before posting, of course maybe you were offended by the snarky remark that LMGTFY makes about "Was that so hard?" But the page that shows up has relevant links...doesn't it?
