Dear All,

I'm trying to design a low cost drivers to sell them in my country and after doing a market research about the lowest way i found that Power Integration have a good design examples.
but after calculating the BOM only for a 20W LED driver it exceed 5$ although the similar wattage drivers in the market have a cost between 2-5$ so can you tell me if i'm in the wright way or not

thanks

Production scale affects considerably BOM cost.
Are you talking about sell how many drivers per month ?

I'm still a beginner so i'm doing a BOM cost for 1000 driver for the first month.
and as u see that my BOM for 1000 driver exceeded 5$

which kind of driver are you talking about ? i guess SMPS, isolated or non isolated ?
20W driver it would not be less than 2.7USD,
and it depends on the annuel volume,

yes I'm talking about SMPS cc, non-isolated 20W-100W Drivers.
Can you tell me which circuit cost 2.7USD?
