bitmap scheduling

I've heard this term used in a few places but do not realize what it means. How's scheduling carried out using bitmap?

you can check the sourc code of ucos2,it is use the bitmap scheduling method.

Also worth to read Ucos book where data structures are explained . It should already be uploaded here .
