tms320f2812 architecture

Hi,
I am currently working on a software+hardware laboratory for electrical engineering undergraduate students in our university.
Students know a little C and Matlab on entry level (C is a core course but i dont think they pay enough attention and Matlab is given by seminaries (by me!)).
We have 10 TI TMS320F2812 32 bit fixed point DSPs for use (new, i am trying to learn) in lab and planning to make a 6 or 7 week (2 hours each) laboratory section going along with DSP course.
Students take DSP course in 8. semester (last semester in normal 4 years education). Matlab R13 does not support f2812, matlab 7 works but it is not stable/slower (i did not like it)

Current idea has
Week1 : Matlab DSP introduction. Some filters etc.
Week2 : Introduction to TMS320F2812 (architecture etc.)
Week3 : Code Composer Introduction
Week4 : Simple programming (led blink / sinusoidal etc.)
Week5 : Filter design.. first in matlab then in C-> DSP
Week6 : Perhaps an ADC conversion
Week7 : ??

Anyone have idea how should it be, or any suggestions / examples?
