Can I install Solaris 9 in Intel P4 using Solaris 9 cd?

solaris in intel server

hi friends
im having solaris version cadence .is it possible i can install solaris 9 in intel p4 using solaris 9 companion cd. is it create any problem when i run cadence? but the cadence ppl advice only for solaris server with 4 blades
what can i do?

Cadence runs ONLY under Solaris SPARC and NO Solaris x86 :(

Hi

cadence has supported packages for

x86 linux base environment.

you can look for that

in your case h/w s/w are not matching.

Buy A Sun Ultra 5/10. it cost about 100-200 US dollar on Ebay
