Hi
In PADS Layout Reference mentioned that if you want to assign hole
plane to ground or power it is better to assign a layer to "Ground Plane"
or "Power Plane" instead of using "Pour Manager".

I use Ground Plane in my design but when i produce Gerbers
it seems there is no copper . May be i am wrong . I compare it
with my "Power Plane" .

Here it is my Gerbers for Ground and Power Planes :

Gerbers for Ground and Power Plane

Please check it and inform me if there is something wrong.
Thanks for your support.

djnik,

During gerber generation, the program asks if we want to connect all planes.
I also think it strange, due that definition should be done under design itself.

I already worked with PADS, however can´t open those files.
Could you attach them in a viewable format ?

I believe your problem is that you are calling out negative planes in your gerber generation. If you are using pours this will not work. You will have to set your gerbers to split mixed.

Eda
