Hi,

I am having trouble with my laptop communicating with the spectrum Analyzer using NI GPIB commands from matlab. I have examples and they don't work, I've duplicated code I've found on the internet and I always get an error when I do fopen(xxx). ans returns a -1 which i assume means it didn't work and when I execute the fopen command or try to write to it I get an error either complaining that the instrument isn't connected or too many variables.... I think the program thinks that the fopen is used to open a file. Does it matter is the code is written as a function or just a script....
