how to perfectly program P89v51rd2 using flash magic!!

Hello,I have transferred few programs thro flash magic in p89v51rd2 successfully b4..but now d programs are not getting transferred al all.There occurs an error in flashmgic lyk "device signature unreadble" or "cannot communicate" or "try reducung/increasing baud rate".
I have checked my circuit its probly fine..
I have tried all d procedures of flashmgic..still program is not getting transferred!!!
Please help me out..I need it desperately,i hv commited it to my ma'am.

Hey try n chk whether the capacitors of max232 are of proper value.
n also chk the input parameters on flash magic.

Go to options -> advance options and uncheck high speed communications and half duplex communication

next select hardware config and uncheck both options and try again

if it does not work then just check the 4 boxes one by one and start from high speed communication... some times these configuration mistakes give that error

dont use sms or short hand messaging in this forum....

Thank you for the suggestion.
Can the static eletricty damage the IC's or the entire PCB if not handled with care and cause such problems???
 

not all of a sudden but definetely it will have its effect and fail the components in the course of time if repeatedly touched un-necessarily....
 

i have perform all action mentioned above still my program is not load in P89V51RD2 and still appear menu " reset device in isp mode now"
what's problem pls help me
 

try replacing the version of flash magic you are using.. there is some problem or bug in few versions. please put the snap shot of all your seetings that you have done, without missing any step.

I am eager to see your hardware and communication settings in the software.
 

Hello,
Check your connections such as ground connection(including db9), vcc..
select device properly(p89v51rd2?)..set baud rate 9600.. interface none ISP..
Try this -->
1. start flash magic (keep in mind use DTR to control RST tab must be unchecked) :
2. switch off your p89v51rd2 circuit.
3. connect cable to max232(from pc to circuit board)
4. hit start or read device signature.
5. When it asks to reset your device, switch on the power to circuit.
