FFT Code - What is the meaning of "Confluence fft"?

Hello all

I want to use Verilog codes for fft from opencores. it is written in confluence. I want to know what it means. can I use that for one of the blocks of my system?
I ran it in Modelsim, but can not get any results. it was compiled without error.
