Hi guys,

Can u describe the steps to make a new component in the library.

I already made the footprint and the schematic of the component. Do I need to compile it when its finish?

Kind regards,
Jo

I made a new schematic component. But the pin names are shown outside my component.

How to put them in the component rectangle box?

regards,
Jo

sounds like you either have your pin names bacward or you have to rotate pins to the correct orientation. Here is an image of pin name and pin number:

firstly you should make a integrated library then you should put it your sch and pcb library in this integrated library. Also after designing a sch or pcb lib you should RR shortcuts for the checking your mistakes.

and your pins which defining in the sch lib looks outside. like this=>
