Anyone know of an off-the-shelf mmic or discrete packaged vco or fixed oscillator that can operated somewhere between 8 and 11 Ghz, and put out at least 200 mw. Performance is not imporatant, since this is just for a burn-in rack. I am not having much luck finding one.

Hallo Brian,
In "RF and Microwave Transistor Oscillator Designl" is on page 187 a 5GHz VCO, with FLK052WG MESFET and 300mW to find: (www.esnips.com/web/PLLBooks/)
Some other good circuits at pages 290-310 & ~400...

Does Fujitsu still make mesfets? Can't find FLK052WG anywhere.

I found it in these book from Grebennikov; hopfely he knows it :), maybe its from Siemens (or some cooperation w. Fujitsu)?. At publications time 2007 he worked by Siemens...
