Hello there

I have this USB stick, 8gb memomy, and now it's not working anymore, the led is off, and nothing happend. I think it was a broken computer who kill it. Is there a service manual, or something like that to repair it???

Cuartz is 12.00 mhz, and the controller USBest UT165-L64.

All help is welcome!!!

Thank you!

Open it.

I'll bet that the USB connector has a loose pin. This happened to a few of my usb sticks.
Easy to fix if you are good at soldering.

i allready open it, and resold the USB connector, but the same result, not working... :( any scheme/datasheet for this USBest UT165-L64 ic, or scheme for powering this ic, from USB???

HI

I THINK YOU SHOULD TRY TO REPLACE 12MHz

CLOCK MODULE GO FOR AN OTHER DEAD USB

BECAUSE IT IS THE MAIN COMPONENT WHO IS

RESPONSIBLE FOR CLOCKING.

SOME NEWER USBs ALSO HAVE A SMD FUSE IT

COULD BE OF GREEN IN COLOR.
