I am using the UART of the micrcontroller to send 8bit data to the PC through the serial port.

I want to write a VB GUI application that will display the 8 bit data where each 8 bit will indicate whether a particular thing is true or false.

I kno that i have to use the MSCOMM package but i don't know how i am supposed to use it to recieve the data.

I hope someone can provide me with a link to a sample code of using the MSCOMM package for receiving the data from the UART and then displaying it on the GUI.

THANKING YOU FOR YOUR HELP :)
