hi,
i have a doubt.

when a piezoelectric crystal degrades, ideal what parameter of the crystal is causing degradation?

Is it electrostatic cap of piezo changing? can anyone pls pass on any interesting material on piezo?

What usually happens is that the resonant frequency changes because small particles fall off or from contaminants in the case migrating onto the crystal.

This is caused by passing more signal current through the crystal than it can take. Pay attention to the data sheet value of "drive level."
