programmin avr 8535

hello,
i am using avr 8535, i have a program of lcd which i want to upload in 8535
the loading on microcontroller is through SPI on the PCB
thou' when i give the command to load, there is error regarding power supply,
damaged AVR, programmers setting, etc.
i have checked the PCB and its working with other PC.
I don't know how to configure parallel com port with SPI on my PCB..
so anybody with any kind of solution plz. help.
i use IBM 600E model its very old model but works for simple programming :)
