Hi,

In I2C communication.

Master sends First byte to address the slave, then the transmitter sends the data bytes to reciever. and the reciever acknowledges the data recieved.

After few bytes data transfer, the master re-starts the dta transfer or terminates the transfer as per the requirement.

What is the limit on number of bytes transferred before Master terminates/re-starts the data transfer.

Regards,
Viswa

It depends of master algorithm only. Standard do not constrain this.

Theoretically NO LIMIT.
Depends on your slave's characteristics.
