Verilog HDL - Samir Palnitkar

I like Samir Palitknar's "Verilog-HDL." The second-edition covers some of Verilog-2001's features, but doesn't list them in a separate section.

While this book is a great tutorial for learning the language, it's not a very good reference. So after you've learned the language, you'll probably want to pick up a second book as a reference.

best books for verilog

verilog byd baskar, in which digital is also there, where the book explains the digital concepts along with the verilog coding

This is what worked for me:

1) A Verilog HDL Primer by J. Bhasker
with hand-on practice, simulation and debugging....simple designs

2) For more info on advance usage, now I (almost) always refer to Verilog 2005 IEEE Standard 1364-2005

Obviously, The focus is on a HDL language rather digital design concepts.
