difference between crystal and oscillator

Hi.....

I dint get the clear explanation for this Q ?

What is the Difference between a Crystal and an Oscillator...... ?

What kind of Processors/Device support Crystal and, ?

What kind of Processors/Device support Oscillators and ,?

oscillator crystal difference

oscillator is the complete circuit. crystal is part of oscillator.

Hi,

You can have R,L,C oscillator ; C, transistor oscillator ; etc.
Crystal oscillator are based on ... crystal.

different between oscillator and crystal

For oscillator, you only supply voltage then oscillator can generate frequency.
But for crystal, crystal is part of oscillator same as suru told. Actually we can image crystal like R, L and C series connection. And if you connect with oscillation circuit, it will generate frequency at resonance point.

crystal oscillator difference

any oscillator consist of few part:1-tune circuit wich by this part we tune value of oscillationfrequency
2-amplifire
3-feedback
crystal just is a tune circuit.

difference between crystal oscillator

Crystal is the part of Oscillator

difference between an oscillator and crystal

Crystal is a rasonator which you can use it to function as a rasonance filter in the circuit. And if you have some positive feedback of the rasonanced frequency it will oscillate which is a oscillator.

Hi,
Ossilator is an R,L,C circuit. However Cristal is a piezielectric component that can be used for ossilating waves generation.

The answer is similar for the question: what is the diference between the car and the engine?
