A question of QAM modulation using I and Q

I would like to know the I and Q path in QAM modulation transimits identical
information or not? or just have phase difference?

actually Q and I paths are used to modulate two different signals... the carrier signals of the paths are out of phase by 90 degree.....

So, the RF output of transmitter is not single sideband modulation?
And, the Tx send a two uncorrleated signals which occupied the same frequency
allocation?
 

ya it is true.... the sideband part is decided based on the efficiency... it is effectively AM and i believe the side band choice depends on ur choice...

For Wi-Fi the transmitter send double side band signal or single side band signal?
