Dear all

1. what is data rate adaptation ? how it differ from contionous and discrete adaptation.
2. define efficiency and fairness of wireless resource allocation in OFDM.

3. WHAT IS SUBCARRIER rate adaptation?
 

for increasing spectral effeciency by adaptive modulation usually we use rate adaptation and discrete rate adptation is more practical than continious rate adaptation
for more details refer to goldsmith paper
"variable rate variable power M-QAM over fading channels"
