Hello Friends,

Any Idea how to delete all SMS messages in the phone memory of SE T610 using ATC.

I tried these commands.

AT+CMGF=1
AT+CPMS="ME"
AT+CMGD=,4

beacause the I read that the second parameter of CMGD command =4 should delete the items in teh default phone memory, but I got ERROR response

Although its possible to erase a single SMS entry in the default memory say for example

AT+CMGD=3

Thnx

A lot of mobile phone GSM modules, i.e the ones you find inside a handset will not allow the use of CMGD 4, they simply error. you will have to list the messages and delete them 1 by 1 in a loop.
