I am desigining a instrument. It is working in 9V duracell alkaline battery. Maximum current is drawn to meter is 3mA. Tne meter specification is 1000hr should work. So that how to get to know this battery life time?

Re: Pls Help me

Hi london

Check this site "Discharge curves for 9V alkaline" and other battery related info.

Code:

Re: Pls Help me

since the voltage across a battery is constant, the lifetime of batteries is generally specified by mAhours... so find the lifetime of the battery in mAhours and divide it by your current value i.e 3mA and so you will get the lifetime of our battery in hours....
