How to plot electrical field among 4 electrical charge q?

hi everyone
our teacher has asked us to plot the electrical field among 4 electrical charge q and it must be done with a software .I dont have any idea to do so
pliease help me do so

Remember that electric fields are linear. You calculate the field from each charge individually and then vector sum them. With your quad symmetry you should end up with four sectors of identical shape except flipped left right and up down.

Use the "quiver" command in Matlab. This does the nice "arrow" plots which are great for the vector field quantities. The "surf" command is great for the scalar quantities like potential.

Hi.
for calculate electrical field resulted from this 4 charges you have not need software.
you can calculate field usin very simple low and then plot your result with matlab or excel or any other softwares or programing.
