wireless data transfer for PIC-based robot

hello..

i'm doing this autonomous robot using PIC...
i want the robot to collect some data in real time and transmit back the data to me via wireless comm...

anyone hv suggestion on which type of comm i should choose i.e wlan, rf, zigbee, bluetooth etc...

and the circuit / components / any additional information

Up to the distance. How the maximum distance that you need ?
 

maximum distance that it can go....
maybe up to 1-2km?
