Hi folk,
I implemented the pic programmer circuit in the link below

When come to phase of testing it, I was able to read, clear the PIC IC. But I am not able to write it.
Could you help me to get this programmer up .!!

There are far better and easy to build PIC programmers that work!
My Inchworm design uses MPLAB which is free and it's ICD2 compatible (you get a debugger too)

i think we are only talking abou icprog and the software that came with propic 2, has anyone tried picpgm from **broken link removed** it is a software that supports virtually all the flash pic microcontrollers and i guess anyone can try it with their already built propic 2 gold, i want to know how it faired, it is what i intend to use after building my pro pic 2 gold programmer.
