folded cascode amplifier

what are the advantages and disadvantages of folded cascode amplifier??
Can be designed rail to rail input voltage.... low output swing... high output impedance.....what else??

Advantage : Higher gain
Disadvantage : Limited output Swing
 

cascode amplifier

compared with telescopic, folded-cascoded has larger noise contribution, larger current dissipation.
 

folded cascode amp

It has larger output swing than telescopic and is suitable for rail-to-rail input stage.

1.seperate the ICMR and outputswing
2.high Gm without high power disspate
3.low noise
disadvantage
1.low speed

advantages of folded cascode

high gain is advantage. But it has pole at foling nodes which decreases it's speed.

folded opamp has larger silicon consumption
