TELL ME DIFFERENCE

HI,

PLEASE TELL ME THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PCI-BRIDGE,PCI-EXPRESS AND PCI TARGET.

THANX... IN SDVANCE.

TELL ME DIFFERENCE

oh hav u refered to manuals??
is it difficult to make out?/

TELL ME DIFFERENCE

Hi
PCI Bridge is the device, which is used to interface between PCI bus and some other bus(like AMBA). for example PLX 9054 is used to interface PCI bus to local bus.

PCI Express is 64 bit PCI bus.

PCI Target is ur Local bus.

TELL ME DIFFERENCE

PCI Express is a 64 bit PCI bus

PCI Express is not a 64 bit PCI bus.

It's a completely different variety. It's a serial, high speed, high BW and scalable bus. Presently it's a promising topic in the IO segment
