Re: CONVERTER

here the datashet for ADC0804 and ADC0808, the usual 8bit ADC

CONVERTER

in simple words ADC is interface circuit which connect analog world to digital world by convertion analog signals in to quantised digital signal by different methods.

Re: CONVERTER

ADC = Analog to digital converter

It sample an analog signal , holds it and convert it to a digital equivalent.

The conversion time it takes dependes on the method of conversion.

see this

Its output can be in parallel or in serial. Also sometimes it may has several analog input channel that can be multiplexed.

It really helps, and avoids wasting our time, if you search 'google' yourself. Don't be lazy!
