find ip of system(linux to Windows)

hai,
please help me to find the ip of my machine.i am using fedora.tried ifconfig

Also please help me

1)how to send UDP packet from my computer to the neighbour
2)how to see the received packet.
3)Send UDP from linux and how to receive in Windows(thats my neighbour,i am using WinPcap for this...but could not find any notification of the packet or source ip while executing winpcap)

Please do help as fast as possible
