Hi,

I need a linear negative power supply that uses a NPN or N-Channel power MOSFET transistor as power regulator and TL431 as voltage reference and active voltage comparator.

Assuming that the unregulated voltage is isolated, you can use "standard" positive regulator configuration (see attached picture) and connect Vout as 0V and use "old" 0V(GND) as the negative pole ..
