Does anyone know how to specify series resistance of inductors in ADS?
Because I don't know what Q I should use...

Thanks!

in ads , schematic just place an inductor , double click on it u will find a R which is series resistor

there is two components in ADS " L" , and "INDQ" ,
if u want to specify the serise resistor u need to use L , if Q use INDQ

Thanks!
But how do I choose the value of series resistance?
I don't know either Q or series R of the model...:|

the series resistance is usually very low i think u should provide more info about the model

what is the part number u use
i sugest u to download the ads design kit for murata components it contains the models of inductors and capacitors for ads

also AVX have such library , and also coil craft , u will find the Q and serice resistance

I am using Jazz 0.35um SiGe model
The library is sbc35x
These are the info I found out

it is a custom process lib , so if u need u may ask the foundry about the design kit
