event driven simulation in matlab

There is a toolbox in Matlab called Sim-event (I think its for Simulink) for version 7.XX or greater.
I've used something like Arena fo event driven simulation.
But you can also do some "pseudo" event simulation. Did you looked at Stateflow? You can design event-driven state machines.

matlab event driven programming

hi,
i have to give inputs to my scheduler
the voice is modeled as an ON-OFF process, where the avg duration of ON and OFF periods are set to 2.5 and .5 secs.
during the ON period, packets are generated with fixed time intervals.
no packet is generated during OFF period.
in video traffic, packets arrive in a poission fashion.

how to create these things.
i read the state flow after your reply. but i cant understand.

please help me sir

thank you sir

event driven programming matlab

Sorry, I can't really help, as I said I've worked on another soft called ARENA.
Did you try to look to Matlab forum?

event-driven simulation

i tried
but no help from that forum

thank you sir

simevent matlab

When you said Matlab is it "plain" Matlab or do you have the Sim-event toolbox also?

matlab event driven toolbox

actually now i have plan to do it in simevents in matlab..otherwise i couldnt achive fairness
do you know how to create blocks in simulink?
