hey
i want to interface my microcontroller 89C52 with PC hyperterminal
how shoul i connect the serial connectors at both ends??????

tx-tx
rx-rx
gnd-gnd
????

TX(PC)-to-RX(micro) ..
RX(PC)-to-TX(micro) ..
GND-to-GND ..

Use MAX232 (or similar) as level converter ..
(1mF ==> 1µF)

Ignore above connection if you set HyperTerminal's Com Property - Port Setting - Flow Control = NONE
