what is accesspoint in netwoek.

Hop : is one of the metrics used by Distance vector protocols like RIP to measure how good the route is , and then deternining which route will be in the routing table

Access point : a point in the service provider network where you can access its service , Like ATM , Frame relay , ISDN Switch , and the link from the client to the that point is called Access link
