Hi,

Can anyone recommend me on some method to improve the sensitity of the radio reciever? Is there anything off the shelf we can use for this purpose.

TIA

An amplifier module right after the antenna might help. (Its something like your TV boaster). Some car companies are using diversity antennas. If you have a rod antenna, tilting it slightly might help.

use active antenna

if you use an active antennna
chances are all youll hear is engine noise and other road uses engines

my advice is to replace your existing antenna with a cb antenna

mounted in the center of the roof or on the rear flap
