hi all,

I am new to ASIC synthesis by synopsys, please advise me about my few basic confusions:-

If I want to target my design for IBM0.13 technology, what kind of files I need to have to be used as library for this technology?(apart from a sunthesiszable design)

synopsys/syn I can see a list of libraries like lsi10k.db, lsi7k.db........etc..

How I can check for which technology a particular library can be used? for example lsi10k.db, does it refer to 0.25micron or not?

I hope my question is clear enough..

thanks,

mirzxa

You need a target library .
target library is basically a collection of standard cells.
You may also need Link library , if you are using hard macros.

thanks for reply,

can you please tell "which target library and link library is to be used for IBM0.13 tech, while synthesiszing by Synopsis"?

regards,

mirzaxu
