Suggest me a college project with decoders, MUX and 555

Hello Genius guys,

Well i have just given my exams .I am doing ELECTRONICS engineering.
Well i have completed my 2 years.Now it's one month leave /So i want to make a good project .for that i require your help.Plz do help me

'WEll i have knowledge about AMPLIFIERS,BJT,MOSFETS,UJTS,555,DECODERS,ENCODERS,MULTIPLEXER,DE MUX,COUNTER ,SEVEN SEGMENT ,OP AMP "

So plz guide me about project that WHAT PROJECT SHOULD I MADE .
I have already made a very good "SOUND AMPLIFER,TRAFFIC SIGNAL ,& circuitry which automatically accepts FONE CALLS "
Plz tell me any circuit in which these Decoders,MUx ,555 etc are involved
In my 3rd year i will be doing POWER ELECTRONICS , BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING ,any projects regarding these will be appreciated.

why dont you try to do somenthing like a multiplexed counter
this is one example that you can use to design one yourself
