y inverting faster than non-inverting?

hi all!
Y inverting gates are faster in execution than non inverting gates implemented in fron or back end design?

non inverting gates are built using inverting gates
inverting gates are the universal gates like nand nor and not
when u convert an inverting gate to non inverting gate an exta gate comes which introduces the delay
 

If you know the design of a CMOS inverter, you have the answer. To make a non-inverter you need to connect two inverters in series, increasing the delay.
