In addition with Yashwant kanithkar,you can also refer to ANSI C by Balaguruswamy.In this book,the concepts are given very clearly with example programs which is easy for freshers to learn.

You can choose the Deitel's bookand it is the most comprehensive and has many examples in C.

The 1st book I have is "C for Dummies"
I find it a very interest and easy to understand book.
The knowledge from the book bring up my interest in C programming,
and lead me to reading more books on C programming.
A good book. Give it a try.
