Dear Sirs

I need to test an inductive load with a low level high frequency current signal. In normal operation the inductive load is feed by a DC voltage source. Test goal is to inject the AC signal with the DC Power simultaneously. Basically what I need is to add two analog signals. One is the low level high frequency test signal, and the other is the high lever DC power signal.

All information will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance by your support

Best Regards

Actualy when supplying LNA mounted on parabolic antennas DC connected to central wire of coax and decoupled by coils. You can use this approach and supply HF signal through capacitor straight to the DC linr decoupled by coil (coil impedance must be high enough to not to degrade resulting signal). But you did not specify what output impedance is needed for summing circuit .

Would a directional coupler help? the DC can go through the through port and the low-level "high frequency" signal can be coupled in via the coupled port.
