Hi All

Does anyone have any experience using the BIRD BDS measurement system?
Can it be used to measure black box devices at rf powers in the 10 to 1000 watt range? Such black box devices would be high power RF transistors, circulators, etc. How does this system work for your applications?

Does the BDS system work like a network analyzer? How do you calibrate it? Can you monitor several siganls at once to determine phase between test signals.

I need to write a report for my professor on better ways to measure input and output impedance of devices at RF power levels. It may be my project so be gentle since I'm new at this RF game.

Thanks for any help you may be able to provide

Sara
