How to convert a hex file back into basic file for PIC micro

PIC MICROCONTROLLER

HI EVERYONE
i wrote a basic program for pic micro and change it to hex file but now i missed the basic file and it has been deleted and now i just have the hex file.
i want to know can i convert it back to basic or not and how?
it is realy nessasery.

Hi, You can't unless you will spent a huge amount of time in finding the matches between statements and resulted code.

Better write it again and use CVS or similar system to maintain your code. Look at RCS through google.

It is possible to convert *.hex to *.bas or any kind of raw code.
But *.hex to *.asm can be converted by any simulator.
