hello folks....

i am using a 7400 nand gate for an operation...

out of six nand gates i am using only three...

if i leave the other three just like that they may introduce noise...

so what should i do with that remaining....

thanks....

Hi,
I am not sure whehter this technique will work or not, but try it ones.

Noise in digital circuits arises because of switching.

Now the 3 NAND gates which you are not using, short both there inputs and connect it to ground. This will fix the output of the NAND gate fixed at 1, and that can prevent the noise.

thanks
