As far as I know, Cadence not on Windows.

I used Gateway (schematic)/Smartspice(simulator) on Windows XP. It is from Silvaco. All of its EDA tools got windows versions I think.

I understood your problem!
Solution:
You can install it on the server and access the server with PuTTy + Exceed from any window based computer.

This way it will be easy for you.

You can use Tanner EDA tools instead of Cadence IC on Windows.

no serious CAD tool run on Windows

window is not stability as linux.

it is Cadence LVD for windows

Cadence LDV is a powerful HDL simulator

it cannot used for IC Layout Design,
I think TannerEDA tools are good on windows platform but its not as powerful as cadence tools

What is the difference between ADS and cadence? which one is better for RFIC?

linux soft run fast than windows , Like hspice have Linux + win 32 ..

windows OS performance about 70% linux in the same I7 3770K CPU ..
