is there cadence for window ?

Hi all,
IC5141 use only on linux. Is there verson of Cadence Virtuoso (for analysis and design integrated circuit) run on window?

There is no windows version of IC5141.

As of now Cadence cann't be run on windows platform.
Anyways why do you want cadence to run on windows.
If you want you can use Agilent ADS on windows platform.

anywat maybe you can try MEntor Graphic on windows. IS a similar software to do in the windows interface

ADS is powerful simulator.
it is very good in rf design.

there is no windows version of ic5141 but you can use vmware or vitual pc to use it in windows.

:idea:
ADS stands for Advanced Design Systems.
As far as I know the tool it is as powerful as cadence or any other tool.
It is easy to learn, and also it can be used for fast modelling of systems because of the rich library it has.

Its licenses are cheaper than those of cadence.
I donnot know about the limitations of this tool, so if anybody can put some light on it.

cadence ic5141 is involved simulator and full custom IC layout and I don't think Mentor Graphics has the similar tool on windows platform. Mentor Graphics' IC station and Eldo are only for Unix/Linux version.
 

There is Cadence LVD for windows
 

windows is a bad OS for EDA, not recommend
 

What do you want?
If
Layout u may run the Ledit
PCN u may run protel
simuli u may run the modelsim

they are the powerful tools on the windowns platform

lvd too old, should use IUS instead, or try modelsim.
 

IUS and ModelSim both work better on Unix/Linux IMHO.
