Hi, I am starting my home electronics lab and I want to know what are the essential copmonents that I should have. like what are the general values of resisitors that I should have for a good start?

thnx...

Take a look at:
"Setting up a home lab"
https://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_6/chpt_1/2.html
and make sure that you always have some 1kΩ, 10kΩ, .. resistors .. 0.1µF, 100µF, .. capacitors .. 1N4004, 1N4148, .. diodes .. PN100, PN200, 2N7000 transistors .. LM555 timer(s) .. 74HCT00 gates .. 7805 voltage regulstors .. and so on ..

Regards,
IanP
