hi all

I need circuitry of data modulation in the ir . which ir sensor is best for obstacle detection do u have any idea
.
 

38khz ir signal modulation

I hope this thing can help you. This circuit using Timer555 for modulation ir signal in 38Khz. TL17xx is the Receiver IC with "xx" is the Frequency for modulation. In this example the Freq is 38KHz, so the IC is TL1738. So you can use any 38KHz IC Receiver.

ir modulator ic

for small distance u can use simple ir led+330 ohm and receiver photo diode(range 5-7cm). more than that go for 38khz ir +tsop or sonar
