histogram specification matlab

hello friends, i'm doing my project in image processing.i have a doubt in implementing histogram specification in matlab.i got the histogram graph to be specified.i have doubt abt where to locate the pixels(&which pixels)in an image.anyone is having the code for histogram specification.Thanx in advace.
 

Are u using this for compression.


if s

just find the histogram of the samples using hist
divide the width based on number bits you want to compress into
use the corresponding pixel value from histogram

This is for uniform

for LM you have to find the pdf
