How to determind the ring oscillator tunign range? What is the first measurement that I should be doing? and where shall I go from there? thanks

cadence parametric analysis vco tuning range

try to refer to the cadence or ADS manual
good luck!

Re: VCO tuning range.

Hi,

I think you need to sweep the control voltage of the VCO between the min and max possible values, and measure the frequency output. The tunning range is the diffrence between the min and the max frequencies you can get out of the VCO.

Shohdy
