anybody knows how much is this ic cost in usd?

and please do share your thought on best microcontroller for PLC networking majorly in dsp environment, no analog.

Subscribe to Maxim (free) and order samples of MAX2986DV KIT .. How much are they - who knows ??? they normally provide prices, but not this time ..

Your other question about "the best" microcontroller is as old as microcontrollers themselves .. It is like asking about preferences between summer and winter holidays ..
If you use it skillefully, any micocontroller will do almost anything you need ..
Select one which you are familiar with - that's it ..
